DESCRIPTION:Have you ever had to choose between your paycheck and your health? \nHave you ever needed to take time off work because you or someone you care for was sick\, but you couldn’t afford to miss a day? \nHave you ever been penalized or retaliated against for using your sick leave benefits? \nIf you answered yes to any of these questions\, we’d love to connect with you! \nJoin us for a community conversation about access to paid sick leave on Saturday\, March 2nd. You will have an opportunity to share your experience and learn about ways to share your story to support the Nebraskans for Paid Sick Leave campaign. \nA $50 stipend will be given to participants for their time and thoughtful contributions. \nRegistration is on a first come\, first serve basis\, with the number of participants capped at 10. A Nebraska Appleseed organizer will reach out to you to confirm details. \n(NOTE: No stories or information will be shared without full permission and consent. You have an option to share your story publicly — or not — and may share anonymously.)
